ARC Raiders Crafting Guide: Components and Upgrades
Plan ARC Raiders crafting projects, component stock, blueprint priorities, and efficient workshop upgrades.
Optimize reliable XP, not theoretical XP
The fastest progression route is rarely the activity with the largest possible reward. It is the activity you can complete reliably with low downtime and a clear reset loop.
Measure the full cycle: preparation, queue, activity, reward, and restart. A smaller reward with a short, consistent cycle can outperform a volatile high-reward route over an entire session.
Use a three-part session routine
Begin with a short warm-up, complete a focused progression block, and finish with a two-minute review. This structure protects your early matches from avoidable mistakes and prevents unfocused grinding.
- Warm-up: rehearse the mechanic your activity demands
- Progression block: run one objective with minimal switching
- Review: record one bottleneck and one adjustment
Stack compatible objectives
Combine objectives only when they reward the same behavior. If one task requires speed while another demands careful exploration, stacking them can reduce completion rate and increase frustration.
Choose one primary objective and add secondary tasks that happen naturally along the same route. The primary objective always determines when to reset.
Remove hidden downtime
Inventory management, indecision, constant build changes, and unclear group roles quietly consume progression time. Prepare a default setup and a simple restart checklist before the session.
Use breaks deliberately. Short breaks preserve decision quality; unplanned scrolling and repeated menu changes do not.
What to do when progression stalls
If completion rate falls, lower the difficulty or risk until the loop becomes stable again. A reliable baseline gives you useful information and rebuilds momentum.
Change one variable at a time—route, loadout, objective, or team role—so you can tell which adjustment actually improved the result.

What matters most for fast XP?
Reliable completion and low downtime matter more than chasing the largest possible reward every run.
Should I stack every available objective?
No. Stack objectives only when they reward the same route and behavior.
How long should an XP session be?
Use focused blocks long enough to repeat and learn the loop, with short breaks before decision quality drops.
